Mechanical Design: Heating, ventilation and air conditioning load calculations for remodeled areas. Coordination and layout for design of ductwork, supply air diffusers and return air grills for effected remodel areas. Layout thermostat for applicable new or remodel zones. Ductwork and piping risers as needed. Coordination with architectural and structural to establish preliminary duct sizes and available duct sizes for new and remodel spaces. Redesign of return air in corridors to comply to comply with current mechanical code. Provide fire/smoke damper for all supply registers and exhaust grills in corridors.
Plumbing Design: Design of sewer and domestic water for all new plumbing fixtures. Water, waste, vent and natural gas sizing calculations as required by building department plan check Design of floor plans for domestic hot and cold water, waste, vent and natural gas for all new fixtures. Design sanitary sewer, waster and vent riser diagrams for new and remodel. Equipment schedules, fixture list and plumbing design layout details. Investigate existing grease interceptor design and layout from existing plans and recommend possible new design solution.

Electrical Design: Electrical load calculations. Lighting consultation to establish buildings lighting parameters and required controls. Panel, equipment schedules, and single line diagram. Coordination with architectural and mechanical systems to provide power and/or conduit diagrams.

LECE performed Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing engineering, Heating, Ventilation and Air conditioning load calculations. Coordination and layout for design of ductwork, supply air diffusers and return air grills. Layout of controls, thermostat and applicable zones. Exhaust for conference rooms, kitchens and restrooms as required. Ductwork and piping risers as needed. Layout of air conditioning systems and refrigeration piping design as needed. Equipment schedule and mechanical design details. Coordination with architectural and structural to establish preliminary duct sizes, available duct sizes and available scaled diagrammatic routes for ducts. Incorporate comments by acoustical engineer's review as applicable. Provided cut sheet of equipment, exposed grills, registers, louvers, etc. Visited the site to verify existing conditions within 5 feet outside of the proposed building. Design of sanitary sewer and domestic water to five feet outside of the building or points of connection to existing. Designs were in coordination with the site civil design. Water, waste, vent, and natural gas sizing calculations as required by building department plan check requirement. Design of floor plans for domestic hot and cold water, waste, vent and natural gas. Sizing of condensate drains and design layout. Sizing and layout of rain water roof and ovrflow drains to five feet outside of building. Design sanitary sewer, waste and vent riser diagrams. Equipment schedules, fixture list and plumbing design details. Cut sheets of fixtures. Title-24 building standards set up by the state energy commission will be in effect on this project. Title-24 forms and calculations. One site visit to review existing conditions on site. Utility coordination with governing supply agencies and owner provided existing record documents. We had one meeting to discuss appropriate electrical and mechanical equipment options. Lighting consultation to establish building lighting parameters and controls required. Lighting consultation to establish exterior site and parking lot parameters and controls required. Fixture, panel, equipment schedules, single line diagram and product literature cut sheets as required. Coordination with architectural and mechanical systems to provide power and/or conduit diagrams. Computer and telephone locations per owner's request.

We performed HVAC Design for laboratories, office space and conference rooms utilizing central plant HVAC systems. It included an 800 ton chiller, boiler and cooling tower. This large building included many laboratories with fume hoods, process piping, several offices and conference rooms.
